Look ma, I’m on TV!

Look ma, I'm on TV!

The Norfolk Craft Mafia made our television debut this morning! Check us out in a story by WVEC Channel 13’s Vanessa Coria. I love the clip. The ending of the online one is a little abrupt, when I upload the full version it doesn’t get cut off like that.

Click here for the full story online and to watch the video segment.

We plan to have a high-resolution clip of the segment on our website as soon as possible. I wish the clip could have been a bit longer so we could have seen more details and shown more of the mafia’s items. They really only showed mine and Amanda’s in detail and they filmed for two hours and we went over everyone’s stuff! I guess that’s what happens in editing, oh well.

I’d love some feedback on the video, what do you guys think?

That's a great story & you look so cute!

Karen, any kind of strong glue will work. Superglue or glue used for glass & metal is the best. Here's a good tutorial:

Congrats on your TV debut! It's awesome that you're getting the word of handmade delights out, and the little lesson was awesome. I have a magnet board that's looking a little bare now.

That was cool.

I didn't expect you to have such a thick Southern accent!

Les, for some reason, neither did I!

Very cool! You look very comfortable in front of the camera.

Ha, that was nothin'. You guys should hear me when I'm mad. It really comes out. (grew up in south Georgia)

How awesome are you guys? So totally awesome that I 1) wish I lived in Norfolk or 2) want to plan a road trip to come to one of your craft shows!

My southern accent comes out when I'm tired...or tiiiie-rd, which is how it sounds when I actually am tired. (Fredricksburg, VA until I was almost 6)
