08 October, 2007Chillin.
After a long walk this is what the cool dogs do. I feel like I need to flop down on a bed after the weekend I had!
Thrifting, farmers market, grocery shopping, marathon cooking (wanted to send some freezeable/reheatable meals to my sister, she’s finishing up her externship for nursing school and is too busy to cook), housecleaning, Cogans, knitting, and then the highlight: seeing David Sedaris last night!! He was hilarious. It was extremely weird to see him in person, I am so used to his voice but seeing him actually talk was strange.
I’m making a big etsy shop update today. Probably later this afternoon/evening. Later dudes.

Love David Sedaris - He just cracks me up!
I saw David Sedaris in Greensboro (when I was still at Guilford), and his sister Lisa was there! He actually made her stand up and everything. He went on to write about that particular trip in an essay that appreared in Dress Your Family . . . I thought it was so cool.
Awwwww. Hi, Kyla! *pats*
Hey there! Thanks for the add on Twitter!
That's how I found your blog! LOL
Love it.. don't mind if I add ya to my blogroll.
(I don't expect you to add me back) =)
I'd just love to visit ya more often!
Your dog is adorable! He is soooooo photogenic! And I love that blanket of yours... so cute!
Kyla is amazingly cute! I adore that quilt on your bed! Where's it from?
I got the quilt in a craft swap. It's handmade and awesome!
Where was your seat for David Sedaris?
We were in the 2nd to last row even though we got our tickets in July. It didn't matter though since it was hilarious even from far away.
kyla is SOSOSOSOSOSOSO cute, that face is too much. i love her snout.
I saw Sedaris last year and loved him but - egads - this time around his tickets were just too outrageous. But what fun - I was like a giggly, nervous schoolgirl when I got to meet him - he was so cool.
My little brother (well, not little, he's thirty and an engineer but he'll always be little to me of course) moved to Norfolk yesterday! And, umm, you know, if you ever felt like, ah, doing a little post about Cool Things To Do in Norfolk I'm sure he'd appreciate it and I'd appreciate it even more because he never seems to have any good ideas for things to do when we visit....
Hi Kyla,
I've been a fan of yours for a while and you've inspired me to start my own blog. I'm a fellow Boston. You can check out my first post at: http://www.spikeandthecity.blogspot.com/.
