09 February, 2007It’s coming together

It’s amazing to me how much one rug can add to a room. I feel like it pulls the whole living room together. Here’s my new Angela Adams rug from Design Public. I think I’m in love. More detailed pictures this weekend, hopefully.

Oh - very nice. I love the colors.
That site has some great stuff! I love the Angela Adams rugs!
scha-wing. good choice.
also, i'm tagging you, gal. get your blog on.
1. Because I have to fill up time at work.
2. Because I love hearing myself speak.
3. Because since I was 16 my website has been a way to show off my "art" whether that be crappy poetry, written pieces, paintings, and more recently my food and interior creations.
4. Because I like feedback.
5. Because I like meeting people online, and eventually in real life.
You should have picked someone more exciting to tag haha.
I'm' in love too! Great rug.
Kind of like The Big Lebowski... great rug!
where'd did you get the vases?
Ikea. I was amused to see Jonathan Adler ripoffs there, so I picked em up.
"that rug really tied the room together, did it not?"
The one on the right is a dead ringer for the "seed" vase.
Gotta love Ikea!
It looks like a garden scene. I like it. :) Nice addition to your house.
Hey, we have that table, too! It looks really good in that ensemble. :)
I Love (with ca capital L) Angela Adams. You are so lucky to have one of her rugs! Someday . . . someday.
Hey ur sisters hubby "Rob" is he in the Navy? He looks just like this dude I played paintball with today in hampton.
It's gorgeous. I love it!!!
Amber, that looks beautiful, they should use that shot on the Angela Adams website (I just tried to abbreviate and realized "AA Website" might have a different meaning than I intended!).
That's the kind of purchase that I find rewarding - see it a bunch of times, long for it, think about it, then finally bite the bullet. At least that's how I approach Angela's big ticket (and all big ticket) items! Then I impulse buy all over the junky shops, thrift stores, and flea markets :)
FYI - You got a comment on your kitchen on the post over at Hatch recently.
