Jimmy is the best. It’s our four year anniversary together and he got me the greatest present ever. I am the proud new owner of an Infinity TSS-1100 home theater system!!! Surround sound baby! There is a receiver too but I can’t remember the brand or anything about it right now. We hooked everything up last night and my house sounds like a movie theater, complete with the floor shaking when dinosaurs walk by on the screen and stuff. It’s crazy.
Now between the high-definition TV and the home theater I’m basically the best place in town to watch LOST tonight. I’ll start taking bids on seats, starting… NOW.
I thought I was being the best girlfriend ever when I got him a rare Coalesce record (one out of only two made, Last Call for the Living, gray hexagon-shaped vinyl), but when I saw this I was blown away and can imagine the conversation he’s having with his friends and coworkers. “So what did you get your girl?” “A huge home theater system and a Dolby 7.1 receiver.” “What did she get you?” “A record.” LAME!

Score for! My first Birthday with my now husband he gave me a receiver and being the girl I am, I promptly returned it and got a camera that I never use. Still regret that. Happy Valentine's Day!

We're bad parents. Kyla didn't get anything cause it was an anniversary thing, we don't really do V-day necessarily.
I know what that's like I bought my boyfriend a couple months of xbox live, a jim morrison book, and some candy for valentines day (his birthday is 3 days away and i am buying him a case thing for his snowboard) and he bought me tickets to see The Shins on Sunday. My present sucks. : (

Wow, total score. We got a surround system this summer but have yet to set it up because we still can't decide on using the speaker stands or drilling holes in our new floors for the wires to come out. How lame is that! It's obviously not as cool as yours.
