Tonight, a new restaurant/venue opens called The Boot. It’s by the dudes that own Relative Theory Records.

Here’s what Josh had to say about the restaurant: “We are going to be doing traditional Italian food with a VA twist. Mostly all of our produce will be organically grown and bought from independent farms from Suffolk, Charlottesville, Williamsburg, and other farms from our region. We will do the same for all dairy and meat. All will be organic, free range, and bought from independent farms. It’s pretty cool when a farmer from Charlottesville pulls up in his truck with his wife and shows you vegetables that were in the ground that morning while you were sleeping.”

Come spend your dollars locally and support a great new venture. All the glitterati will be there tonight for the opening. I can’t wait to eat some yummy Italian food. I’ll be there. Come see me.

Also, there is a show Saturday. Jimmy’s band The Insider will be playing, I have no idea who these other bands are. Probably a good deal of JUNT JUNT WEE will be involved. But come out anyway.
