Dude, I am such a major Beyonce' advocate/evangelist. Her earnestness and wild athleticism always make her videos so amazing. LOVE LOVE LOVE.

I have been playing the new Beyonce album for the past few days. I am loving it! I think it's mostly because I'm about to turn 25. It makes me want to jump up and workout and be fabulous for my 25th B-Day!

I have a secret love affair with "Sexy Back" It's quite catchy. But it totally makes me think that he's gay.

i just bought the justin timberlake album, and though i felt slightly ashamed for doing so, it's pretty good.

okay, wow. that was good.

but why does it seem like she has to mention chinchilla (fur, coat, blahblah) in almost every song? hasn't that gotten her in some trouble? and really, enough with that already.

otherwise, definitely hot.

She's starting to sort of weirdly resemble Shakira. I think I maybe I miss the thicker Beyonce a little bit. But she's still sort of awesome. This video kind of makes me want to throw devil horns and go, "WOO!" which is completely inappropriate. (I guess it's the righteous anger. It's almost riot-grrl-esque. Or something.)

I think you are so awesome Amber- but I am not so sure about your taste in music sometimes. I am NOT a Beyonce fan- or Justin Timberlake- or ANY of these little "I used to be in a group, but now I am free to do my own thing" people, who's stuff sounds EXACTLY the same as the stuff they did with thier group. Actually, I saw a comedian a week or so ago, a black, british comedian who said something about how when Beyonce was with Destiny's child, she was singing things like "independant woman" and "survivor"- she gets on her own, and what is she singing about? her ass. I thought it was funny- and kind of a good point.

You would probably hate my taste in music. I stopped listening to the radio back in the late 90's when ALL you heard was the boy bands, britney, and christina. Actually, I think Christina has an AMAZING voice- but what she sings tends to be total crap.

I have probably made you dislike me now :-p
