Deadlift day

Wednesday was one rep max deadlift day at the gym! My favorite day – deadlifts are the best lifts in all the land. At least for me. Finally, those big hips, butt, and thighs come in handy.

I hit a PR by 10 pounds, I’m finally at 300 pounds! Woooo! My girl Lisa hit a PR too, here she is doing 230.

It’s all in the faces you make. I promise. In other CrossFit-related news (sort of), I am so excited to announce that I’ll be redesigning and rebuilding Robb Wolf.com! His book The Paleo Solution: The Original Human Diet comes out next month and so the next few weeks will be a whirlwind trying to get him moved to a new, more reliable web host, making the site look purty, making the navigation more intuitive, and integrating some fun new stuff. Keep an eye out! I’m excited!

  4. Congrats on the dead-life – that is seriously impressive girl! I’m looking forward to hearing more about the Paleo diet, I read an article on it a few weeks ago and am interested to see how it translates into “real” life.
